The Painting was commissioned for the May Day Concert (May 1, 2011) for the Rock Hill Music Club as part of their ‘Celebration of the Arts’.  The Theme is based on the scripture Psalms 137:2 and 150:2-5.  These Old Testament scriptures use words to picture dancing, music and instruments along with willow trees, water and joy.  The Painting interprets these words in color and imagination.

 “Willows in Concert” is now owned by Margaret Burnette of York, SC.  She is so pleased with her painting and looks forward to hanging it in a special place in her home.
